 Conley made his only season at Ohio State count, guiding the Buckeyes to the national title game and a 35-4 record as a freshman, where they eventually fell to a Florida squad featuring Al Horford, Joakim Noah and Corey Brewer. He recorded 20 points and six assists in the title game and averaged 11.3 points, 6.1 assists and 3.4 rebounds as a Buckeye.

 Allen’s 2004 Oklahoma State Cowboys finished the season 31-4, making it all the way to the Final Four. OSU lost to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 67-65, in the semifinals. In the Elite Eight, the Cowboys defeated the number one seed in their bracket, St. Joseph’s (30-1), on a three-pointer in the final seconds. Allen averaged 16.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game that season as a senior.

 In three seasons at North Carolina (two under legendary head coach Dean Smith), Carter made it to two Final Fours (1997, 1998) and averaged 15.6 points per game in his final season as a junior. In a 1998 national semifinal loss to Utah, Carter scored 21 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field. During the 1998 NCAA Tournament, Carter averaged 18.2 points per game.
