Wizards look to finish trip strong in Indy
The Wizards look to finish their four-game road trip on a high note after winning the first two games of the stretch in New York and Atlanta.
 Wizards fall in Cleveland, 116-101
The day after the Wizards and Cavaliers were part of a three-team trade on Friday night, they met in Cleveland for the second matchup of the season. Ignited by a 31-4 run in the first half, the Cavs cruised to victory over the Wizards, 116-101.
Wizards in Cleveland in search of fourth straight win
The Wizards have been taking care of business. They’ve won three straight overall and the first two games on their current four-game road trip, and while none of the wins have come against teams over .500, they’ve come at a necessary time. Washington started the season 2-9, and now sit at 11-14 on the season entering another game against a struggling team in Cleveland.
Wizards acquire Sam Dekker in three-team deal
The Washington Wizards announced today that they have acquired forward Sam Dekker from the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of a three-team trade with the Milwaukee Bucks. As part of the deal, the Wizards sent Jason Smith and cash considerations to the Bucks and a 2022 second round draft pick to the Cavaliers.
 Wizards take down Hawks, 131-117
Fueled by a 39-point second quarter, the Wizards won their third straight game with a 131-117 win over the Hawks on Wednesday night. Despite a Hawks comeback in the second half, the Wizards would lead by as many as 25 points and have little trouble outside of those few minutes.
Wizards visit Hawks in search of third straight win
With one game down on a four-game road trip after a Monday night victory in New York, the Wizards (10-14) will make their first trip to Atlanta this season to take on the Hawks (5-19) on Wednesday. Washington now has back-to-back wins heading into the game, while Atlanta is on a three-game losing streak.
Wizards beat Knicks, push winning streak at 'The Garden' to nine
The Wizards have the Knicks’ number at Madison Square Garden. Time will tell if Monday’s trip to the world’s most famous arena will be the spark of a road winning streak as Washington is at the beginning of a four-game trip. For at least a night, the Wizards started to look like the team they saw themselves as at the outset of the season. Defense, fast break offense and timely 3-point shooting all came together as Bradley Beal, John Wall and co. toppled the Knicks, 110-107. It was the Wizards' ninth straight win as a visitor in New York.
Wizards start four-game trip in New York
Two nights after hosting Brooklyn in D.C., the Wizards (9-14) are in New York to take on the Knicks (8-16) and start a four-game road trip. Both Washington and New York are coming into the game off of wins, with the Knicks getting a win over Milwaukee on Saturday and the Wizards beating the Nets.
Wizards' defense steps up to down Nets, 102-88
Saturday night’s meeting between the Wizards and Nets was an even playing field in one sense: both teams had traveled after playing (and losing) on Friday night and were looking for a quick rebound win. Washington got what it was looking for on its home floor, shooting 51.9% from the field and playing some of its best defense of the season on the way to a 102-88 victory.
Wizards back at it Saturday vs. Nets
The Wizards will return home for one game on Saturday night against the Nets before heading back on the road.
